This articles explain the steps which need to be carried out when you setup whatsapp in your school/organizations.
- Step 1- Create Master Data in your school/organization
- Domain : Whatsapp
- Identifier : API-MESSAGE

Step 2 : Create WhatsApp Template in Vedanta ERP
Goto Send Alert Module & then goto Group SMS to open page Sent Alert
Then lick on Add New Template link to open template management page.
Open Template Management & Click on + button to create a new tempalte as follows
Make sure to select the above fields carefully specially in tempalte write 'WhatsApp'
- Following field will apply on slection of Systemin Type drop down
Type : [System or User Define]
Module : [Where Applicable]
Entity : [Scope]
Event [Event]
- Step 3: Create & Get it Approve from Meta/Whatsapp Console
- Login to whatsapp console https://console.gupshup.io/unified/whatsapp-classic?id=74896
- Select Extention from left menu -> Enterprise WhatApp option
- Select Templates from top menu -> Create New
- Carefully create tempalte, allowing category by meta helps, also do'nt given header.
- For example to send ID card verification link to parents we will use such template, there are two variables included in it.
